Meet the client
Benefit Systems is a leading provider of non-wage employee benefits, promoting active lifestyles and employee well-being. To support its long-term growth, the company is executing a business strategy aimed at serving more than 3 million users across over 600 facilities.
Business need
01
Build a self-sustainable AWS environment to reduce reliance on external vendors
02
Stabilize Critical Identity Management
03
Ensure the infrastructure could reliably support high-volume workloads
04
Upskill the internal IT team to independently manage and develop the AWS environment

The solution
The project began with a migration readiness assessment and the AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP), creating a secure and scalable foundation for Benefit Systems' cloud environment.
Working closely with the client's team, Tameshi migrated more than 60 applications to AWS, including the Keycloak identity and access management platform. The new environment was built using over 80 AWS services, including Amazon EKS, Amazon EC2, Amazon RDS, Amazon ElastiCache, Prometheus, MongoDB, and Amazon Bedrock.
Beyond the migration itself, the project focused on enabling long-term cloud independence. Through hands-on workshops, knowledge sharing, and day-to-day collaboration, the Benefit Systems team gained the skills needed to confidently operate, optimize, and evolve its AWS environment.
Results
Benefit Systems now operates a scalable, production-ready AWS environment capable of supporting millions of users and processing over 17 billion logs each month. The organization also gained the in-house expertise needed to manage, optimize and further develop its cloud platform independently. The project was driven by close collaboration between Tameshi and Benefit Systems, whose strong engagement throughout the project resulted in a self-sufficient organization capable of independently operating and evolving its cloud platform.
Tameshi helped us much in not only transforming our application, or designing our application, but also to get our people knowledge about cloud, about services in AWS, and also how to use the best practices in cloud management.
